Office Hours
●Visa Section (Monday to Friday exclusive of office holidays)
9：00 AM ～ 13：00 PM
14：00 PM ～ 17：45 PM
*Visa application is accepted at Visa processing agency, VFS.
Consulate-General of Japan in Chennai accepts diplomatic and official visa applicants and other cases which require special attention.
*Enquiries about the reasons for refusal of visa issuance cannot be accepted.
●Office (Monday to Friday exclusive of office holidays)
9：00 AM ～ 17：45 PM
●Library (Monday to Friday exclusive of office holidays)
9：00 AM ～ 13：00 PM
14：00 PM ～ 17：00 PM
*All electric and electronic devices, personal books, and eatables will NOT be allowed inside the premises or library.
*Visitors’ form has to be filled and photo ID should be presented.
*Users should not deface, cut, mutilate or damage library materials, books in any form. In such case, the users will have to pay the cost of the book.
*Books are not for lending. Photocopy of articles or book chapters up to 10 pages can be arranged and given at no extra cost.
*Up to six users can only access in the library due to limited space
*Please note that the Consulate will not take care or be responsible for any loss/damage of your personal belongings.
