Consul General paid a coutesy call on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister

Consul General Taga paid a courtesy call on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami on September 30th.

While mentioning that economic cooperation projects through JICA and the expansion of Japanese companies in Tamil Nadu are contributing to strong economic relations between Tamil Nadu and Japan, Chief Minister Palaniswami expressed that he wishes to further strengthen the ties for the future.

Consul General Taga noted that Japanese companies have played a vital role contributing  to the Tamil Nadu’s economy by creating a lot of job opportunities, and he expressed that the overall ties between Japan and Tamill Nadu could be further expanded not only by economic relations but also through promoting people to people exchanges and cultural exchanges.
