Inauguration of Japan-India Institute for Manufacturing at TTDI in the State of Telangana
On March 27 2021, TTDI JIM was inaugurated in Toshiba Transmission and Distribution Systems (India) Pvt Ltd (TTDI) located near Hyderabad in Telangana. TTDI JIM has now become the 15th JIM in India and the first JIM in Telangana. Hon’ble Minister of Finance Mr. T. Harish Rao and Hon’ble Minister for Labour & Employment, Factories Mr. Ch Malla Reddy and Principal Secretary in charge of Industries & Commerce Mr. Jayesh Ranjan attended the inauguration. Mr. Taga Masayuki, Consul-General of Japan in Chennai noted that “TTDI JIM is going to play a crucial role in improving the skills of young talents of Telangana and contribute a ‘Make in India’ initiative greatly” while conveying a message on behalf of H.E. Satoshi Suzuki , Ambassador of Japan to India.
