Hello! JAPAN Program

The Consulate-General of Japan in Chennai is pleased to announce that the Hello! JAPAN Program is now available!

Hello! JAPAN provides educational discourse for elementary, high school, college and university students, and private organizations. The objective of this multi-faceted program is for the participants to have a deeper understanding about Japan through Video Presentation presenting Japan’s culture, traditions, festivals, food, language, origami, as well as session for higher education and study abroad opportunity, and many more. Ikebana and martial arts demonstrations are also available upon request. Active participation from those who are joining this program is encouraged to have an up-close experience on the topics being taught.

The programs are tailored to suit the particular ages of the participating school/organization. We invite you to register and participate to this great program by sending us the request form. For more information, please contact our Culture and Information section.

- For schools and organizations located under our jurisdiction only.
- For high school and college level students, the Japanese Government Scholarship program is introduced.
