The 30th annual “Hyderabad–Japan Festival”, a two-day celebration of friendship and cultural exchange between India and Japan will be held in Hyderabad.
 
Venue: State Art Gallery, Madhapur, Hyderabad

Visitors are invited to experience a vibrant mix of art, performance, and tradition, featuring:

  • Japanese Martial ArtsFolk Dances, and Music Bands
  • Indian Cultural Performances including Kuchipudi
  • Live demonstrations of Ikebana (flower arrangement)BonsaiSumie (ink painting), and Origami
  • Exhibitionsworkshops, and expert talks exploring both nations’ cultural and creative worlds
Event Highlights
The festival serves as a bridge connecting Indian citizens and the Japanese community in Hyderabad, promoting deeper understanding and collaboration. Special sessions will focus on:
  • The Japanese language and learning pathways
  • Education and career opportunities in Japan
  • Indo–Japan relations and city-level collaborations such as with Hamamatsu City
  • Insights into productivity methods and the Ikigai philosophy

The event is organized by Na Ra JAPAN HUB, an initiative of the Naga Rama Trust, founded by Dr. B. Ramabhadra and Mrs. Naganath, who spent nearly two decades in Japan and have nurtured this cultural bridge for 30 years
