The Government of Japan has announced the recipients of the Autumn 2025 Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals. Among the distinguished awardees is Mr. A.P. Loganathan (Arcot Parthasarathy Loganathan), former local employee of the Consulate-General of Japan in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
Mr. Loganathan has been conferred the Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold and Silver Rays in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the activities of a Japanese overseas establishment.
During his long and dedicated tenure from 1992 to 2025, Mr. Loganathan served in various departments of the Consulate-General of Japan in Chennai with exceptional commitment and professionalism. Over the span of 33 years, he played a key role in supporting the Consulate’s operations and in fostering friendship and mutual understanding between Japan and India.
The Consulate-General of Japan in Chennai extends its heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Loganathan on this prestigious honour and expresses its deep appreciation for his decades of loyal and distinguished service.
Mr. Loganathan will receive the award certificate and commemorative gift through the Consulate-General of Japan in Chennai at a later date.
