Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals 2025 Autumn Ceremony Held on 13th February

A formal decoration ceremony was held on 13 February 2026 at the Consul-General’s Residence, where the Consul-General formally awarded Mr. Arcot Parthasarathy Loganathan the Order of the Sacred Treasure (Gold and Silver Rays), following the Government of Japan’s announcement of the Autumn 2025 Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals.
During the ceremony, the decoration was presented in recognition of Mr. Loganathan’s outstanding contributions to the activities of a Japanese overseas establishment and his 33 years of dedicated service at the Consulate-General of Japan in Chennai, where he played a significant role in supporting the Consulate’s operations and strengthening Japan–India relations.
The ceremony was attended by invited guests and members of the Consulate. The Consulate-General once again extends its heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Loganathan and expresses deep appreciation for his loyal and distinguished service.
