On September 2, Consul-General Mr. TAKAHASHI Muneo paid a courtesy call on the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Mr. C. Joseph Vijay.
During the meeting, the two sides had warm discussions on further deepening the close and long-standing friendship between Japan and Tamil Nadu.
Both sides also agreed to work together to further strengthen Japan-Tamil Nadu cooperation as Japan and India mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2027.
